Deoria Tal is located just 14 km from Ukhimath in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand by road and about 3 km on foot. Situated on the top of the mountain, this lake is surrounded by barren, Buransh forest, which adds to its beauty.

These mythological beliefs increase the importance of this lake. Later, a fair used to be held on the banks of this lake, and a water trip also used to take place.
According to the priests located in Ukhimath, the water of the lake of Deoria Tal used to emerge at Omkareshwar over time and was offered to Lord Shiva. In this Omkareshwar temple of Ukhimath, Kedar Doli of Lord Shiva is kept in winter.

Travelers coming from Delhi or Rishikesh - You can easily reach Deoria Tal by road to Sari by travelers or private vehicle. Apart from this, if you are planning to visit Deoria Tal at a low cost, then you can reach Deoria Tal comfortably by taking Ukhimath and Trekker from there by bus.
Travelers coming from Badrinath or Chamoli - If you want to visit Deoria Tal from Badrinath, you can easily reach Chopta from Gopeshwar and then reach Sari. However, for this, it is necessary to be private because very few vehicles ply that route.
